Contact points

In effect from 4 September 2026

The short version.

Four addresses, four different things they are for, and one team behind all of them. If you are serving a removal order under Regulation (EU) 2021/784, the address is orders@chatkiwi.app and it can be addressed in Dutch or English.

Removal orders

This is the contact point required by Article 15(1) of Regulation (EU) 2021/784 on addressing the dissemination of terrorist content online. Send removal orders to orders@chatkiwi.app.

Languages. It can be addressed in Dutch and English, which is the list Article 15(2) requires us to name. Verwijderingsbevelen kunnen in het Nederlands of het Engels aan dit adres worden gericht. The three addresses below name no languages, and that list is a statement about this address only.

The same address takes the requests for clarification, the notifications and the challenges that Articles 3(7), 3(8) and 4(4) run through the same channel, so everything about one order stays in one place.

What happens then. Article 3(3) gives us one hour from receipt to remove the content or disable access to it in the Union, and that hour is a statute rather than a service level — it is read off the message as the channel delivered it, not off the moment somebody opened it. We will not send an acknowledgement inside that hour. The message that comes back is the Article 3(6) notification, after the fact, stating what was removed and when.

Legal process

Preservation demands, production orders, correspondence about a report we have made, and Article 18 requests under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 go to legal@chatkiwi.app. We acknowledge these the same working day. Outside counsel is engaged before any substantive reply, so the acknowledgement is not the answer.

Child safety

Enquiries from platforms, regulators, law enforcement and child protection organisations about how we prevent child sexual abuse and exploitation go to safety@chatkiwi.app, which is read first and separately. So does a report from anyone who does not have the app and therefore cannot use the report button.

Moderation

A report you have already made in the app that has not been dealt with, a trust-and-safety enquiry, or a press question about how moderation works goes to abuse@chatkiwi.app. We answer within 24 hours.

If you are reporting illegal content and you have the app, the report button is the faster route and starts the same clock. This address is for when it is not available to you or when the report has already been through it.

Two things this page does not do

It names no legal representative. Article 17 of Regulation (EU) 2021/784 requires one only of a provider whose main establishment is outside the Union. Ours is in the Netherlands, so there is no designation to publish and none exists.

It is not the address for a takedown you disagree with. If a decision of ours has gone against you, the appeal is in the app and it is answered by someone who did not take the original decision. Writing to any address here does not start it and does not pause any clock.

Who is behind them

ChatKiwi is made by Alcyon Internet Solutions, a sole proprietorship registered in the Netherlands under KvK number 32068352. All four addresses route to M. Gabriel, Head of Trust & Safety, and the removal-order address also pages the on-call rota, because an hour that starts when the message arrives cannot wait for the next working day.
